APDC International Design Exchange Center is a membership exchange platform for designers, which is founded by the Asia Pacific Design Center (APDC).

It focuses on service to designers, helps share global design resources, strengthens trans-regional cooperation and exchanges, improves the status of designers in the profession and their professionalism, strengthens both the skills and business of designers, spreads green ideas and promotes healthy, low-carbon lifestyles.

It provides an opportunity to discover and support designers and design organisations, enhance the status of the profession through its influence in the industry and its promotional platform to generate more social and economic value.

Prestigious and respected, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards has been, since its beginnings, a design reference, and a stamp of excellence. It celebrates and rewards the work of designers and architects who aim to improve our quality of life and the built environment, as well as the private and public clients who put their trust in them. The awards program is also intended to advance the appreciation and promotion of excellence in design.

The competition is open to all design and architecture professionals and students, as well as to real estate developers, contractors, manufacturers, and clients who have called upon these professionals to design their projects in various disciplines.

From Quebec to International

Created in 2007 in Montréal, a UNESCO City of Design, with the mission of recognizing the excellence of Québec designers and architects who have distinguished themselves through exemplary practice, the competition was originally open exclusively to firms and professionals with a place of business in Québec. Since 2016, in collaboration with the APDC – Asia Pacific Design Center, the competition has opened a section for firms from China, GPD/APDC Awards. New in 2020! In addition to opening up to new disciplines, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards is now a worldwide competition. Participants from all over the world are welcome to enter in all categories.
