By the end of summer 2024, Corner Collection enhanced Old Montreal’s dining scene with the opening of Mama C, a brand-new restaurant nestled in the heart of Hôtel Nelligan. Named in honor of the owners’ Greek mother, with the “C” representing Christina, this innovative concept redefines traditional Greek cuisine by infusing it with a modern twist. Mama C invites guests to explore a contemporary and refined menu inspired by the authentic flavors of Greece while seamlessly integrating into Old Montreal’s vibrant culinary landscape. From fresh seafood to grilled specialties, the menu showcases distinguished and memorable flavors.
Designed by Zébulon Perron, the restaurant’s modern decor evokes the essence of the Mediterranean. It is divided into two distinct spaces: a warm and luxurious dining room with 113 seats and a soothing, softly lit atrium with 70 seats, each offering a unique experience with every visit.
The atmosphere is both elegant and inviting, where luxury is revealed in the finest details—exposed brick, polished brass, rich wood, and marble blend harmoniously with lush greenery and delicate arches, reminiscent of timeless Greece. The warm color palette—earthy tones, subtle gold accents, and luminous beige hues—envelops the space in a soft, refined ambiance. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to create a setting that is both distinctive and unique, where each detail contributes to an unforgettable experience.
Here, Mediterranean hospitality is expressed in every dish and every moment, turning each visit into a true immersion in the sun-drenched flavors of the Mediterranean.
