GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 13th edition

The designers were moved by the simple, unadorned mountains and came up with the idea of constructing a building out of the rock itself.
A telling detail, the bar counter was sculpted in the tree stump that supports the floor of the building. The use of shadows is meant to evoke clients’memories of watching movies in the open air. The overarching objective was to create a sense of communion with nature.
