The design of this tactile experience was carried out by Tactile studio in collaboration with Kéroul and the Olympic Park team. Produced as a tactile model for people with a visual impairment, a first project of its kind in Quebec makes this architectural gem accessible to people with a visual impairment, although an extremely wider audience can also benefit from it. The model will become an attractive point for all visitors wishing to understand the structure of the Olympic Stadium.
The installation is made up of three elements: the overall island in bas-relief, a section plane and a 40-centimeter model. The island locates the various elements on the Olympic site, the cross section shows the spectacular composition of the Stadium, and the model makes it possible to understand its elliptical shape, to touch its roof and to discover the inclination of its tower.
