RUE DE LA ROCHE – SALLE DE BAIN

GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 14th edition
Discipline : Interior Design
Categories : Residence / Bathroom : Bronze Certification
Reason for the project :
Renovation of the bathroom of an old residence built in 1910 and located in the heart of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie in Montreal.
Transformations :
This bathroom had been renovated over the years. Unfortunately, it no longer corresponded to the taste of the owners, especially since it had no historical cachet. The execution of the latter in a contemporary style and in shades of grey, light and dark, gave the desired result. What particularly brought it to life was the dark grey accent color in a glossy, pearly finish used for the tall storage cabinets. The use of hexagonal and square ceramics delineates the functions inside the bathroom, forming a different background for each function. The glossy finish of the custom-made furniture, together with the judicious lighting chosen, brought a lot of light despite the fact that this bathroom had no windows.
