For this residence in the New Saint-Laurent district, our team had the mandate to completely renovate this house which needed a great touch of refreshment to transform it into bright and modern spaces. The spaces that needed the most attention were the main floor and the master suite. The entire renovation was done in a classic style, but with a few contemporary touches to match the style of the house as well as to please the clients. On the first floor, the clients wanted to have a friendly space, ideal to host. The kitchen was the focus of this project and underwent a dramatic transformation. A gigantic island was installed in the center of the room, combining a work area with a dinette area. The natural materials used and the attention to detail created an elegant yet functional space. The other spaces on the first floor are in continuity with the kitchen, which makes the whole coherent and fluid. The dining room and family room are versatile spaces, ideal for entertaining many guests. The integrated furniture designed in these spaces is an extension of the kitchen and serves as a link between the rooms, distinguishing itself by its functionality. Upstairs, in the master suite, we also find noble materials similar to those of the first floor, which makes the room elegant and timeless.
