This sumptuous property in the Laurentians has been completely transformed, both inside and out. In terms of landscaping, the initial customer request was to create a Nordic home spa and enhance the views of the surrounding landscape. The ground being composed of a cliff at the origin represented quite a challenge for the realization! Many levels have been arranged to create multiple sub-spaces which are all conducive to relaxation. It is these sub-spaces, laid out on multiple levels, that make this backyard unique in its kind. Each level is there for a specific reason or use. Among other things, there is an intimate outdoor shower, a fireplace area, a relaxation area in the shade of the forest, etc. An imposing ipe terrace overlooks the garden so that space users can fully enjoy the sun and the impressive view of Laurentian mountains. The custom-made concrete pool forms the heart of the layout. It is definitely conducive to gatherings and family afternoons.
The amalgamation of large spaces and sub-spaces allows great latitude in terms of uses. The versatility of the layout and the simplicity of the design of this backyard create a real craze for space throughout the seasons.
