GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 14th edition
Discipline : Interior Design
Categories : Special Awards / Signage & Branding : Gold Certification
Categories : Office / Agile work Environment : Silver Certification
For its pan-Canadian centre for continuing education, PX³, Pomerleau wanted to build a stimulating learning environment, dedicated to welcome and integrate new employees as well as serving as a training space, and on occasion, to be used for receptions. Since the project had to offer a variety of spaces adapted to a multitude of functions, particular attention was paid to the versatility of said spaces relying on the mechanisms of subdivision of the premises, the integration of multimedia, the choice of furniture, graphic design of the space and the configuration of bleachers and training areas, which are arranged for the holding of events, as well as for training purposes. This versatile and stimulating environment would not be the same, if it was not for all the graphics elements that were realized in the different spaces. These have been thought out and designed to stimulate learning, facilitate gatherings and reaffirm corporate culture for the employees visiting the training center based in Quebec headquarters.
