Orange croche is the perfect term to talk about the kitchen of this designer couple. The design shows a marked interest in color and angles. Small and colorful asymmetrical volumes, sometimes closed or sometimes opened, seem to float in front of a textured ceramic who remind us the feeling of a cloud. One hides the hood over the oven, whereas others serve as storage, and the last volume acts as a workspace, where forms and functions merge. The quartz countertop surface of the cabinets, which are pale and uniform in color, also contributes to the enhancement of the orange volumes.
The central island, trapezoidal and harmonizing with its peers, has for a work surface a new generation of compact mineral material. On the top and front side, the structure and the counters are one. On the back side a delicate welded metal structure supports it. Maintaining a relationship with the angular wall at its side, it blends seamlessly into the space.
The rest of the space, by the sobriety of its walls and its stained cork floor, allows the distinctive elements of the concept to be appreciated. The cabinet doors are made of two shades of blue to create a uniform and structured rhythm to contrast with angles and color.
