Warm luxury, and spa like ambience can now be attributed to this newly private washroom.
Prior to renovation, the outdated washroom was a long narrow space with high ceilings, a small walk in shower and a massive jacuzzi. As well, a small and enclosed walk in closet. The aim was to transform the washroom and walk in closet to a more functional, grand, spacious and fluid environment.
The existing closet was removed and integrated with the washroom creating an open concept. Two sided closet with mirror doors provides better storage capacity and a more expansive looking space; an uninterrupted view of the washroom is achieved, unifying the two. Appreciation for natural light source is highlighted in the layout , taking advantage of existing windows and skylight. The variation in the heights
of the ceiling give depth, dimensions and movement throughout the space, enhancing user experience. Wood slats were added to create an open separation and a design interest expressing a warm and contemporary texture. Details such as book matching large format tiles 10’x5’ adds great simplicity in function and style; seamless real marble interpretation without the ongoing maintenance of real stone.
Deliberate clean lines , open design and use of warm and rich materials, gives this space a pure minimal elegance creating a calm and luxurious Zen like feel. A Home Spa to covet!
