446 square feet all in length and an Acer palmatum in the center. Traffic was regulated by the central element, the table / chair. Seeming to extrude itself from the ground, it dialogues with the garden. Strong piece, by its volume, it is nevertheless very light. In a single gesture, this concrete table becomes benches framing a Japanese maple tree and soars out to become a lounge chair, thus revealing the linearity of the place. The mineral elements anchor the garden in the ground and give it a personality of its own. The plants relate a miniature version of a natural space. The dialogue between these 2 elements contributes to the desired minimalist effect. Highlighted by the careful and discreet lighting, the space invites an intimate sharing between man and nature, which it is possible to enjoy thanks to the bench that brings us closer to it. A Japanese-style vegetal decor. Japanese maple, planted in the yard for years has influenced the choice of plants, the guideline has been to plant only the native of Quebec, ferns (Stachys byzantina), astilbes (Athyrium filix-femina), three types of Bryophyta moss at the foot of Japanese maple (Acer palmatum), Hostas plantaginea, and Hydrangea paniculata. In short, fairly standard and easy to maintain vegetation. Black pebbles have been placed on the ground to mark a separation between the flower bed and the paving.
