Eko : Tente modulaire

In the current marketplace, tents are generally immutable. They have a fixed shape, size and weight. When buying a tent, you must establish your needs. The configuration of the chosen tent does not always correspond to the possible changing needs of the campers or the unforeseen circumstances of the campsite. In addition, it is expensive and not environmentally friendly to own several tents.
The goal of the project was to design a configurable tent that allows campers to adapt it to the campsite, the number of campers, the necessary storage required and the climate.
EKO is a modular system that allows campers to customize their tent according to their varying needs and site conditions. Triangular modules connected in different ways can create multiple tent configurations. The EKO system allows campers to simply add, replace or reconfigure the tent according to their needs.
The system is versatile and allows many variations:
• Small to large tent
• Low tent or tent where you can stand
• More or less ventilation (number and location of windows)
• Number and location of doors and vestibules
• Small to large vestibules
• Partitions
Another advantage of the EKO modular system is its sustainability. One can upgrade the tent by purchasing components as needed. It is also possible to replace or repair damaged components instead of the whole tent.
