The Érables residence is a single-family home built in 1944. The owner, a young professional, wishes to renew the design of the home to remedy a lack of natural light as well as inconsistencies in spatial planning.
Our architectural approach emphasizes the harmony between the existing and the new, the play of natural light and the interrelation of spaces on three levels by decompartmentalizing the rooms and by creating double heights.
