GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN – 14th edition
Discipline : Interior Design
Categories : Office / Agile work Environment : Silver Certification
Eager to provide a flexible working environment for its staff, Collège Anjou has redesigned a section of the administrative wing to provide teachers with areas more suited to their needs. Acting like a central base, around forty users with various occupations can converge to this space.
A large co-working room allows everyone to have their own workspace on long solid wood tables, in addition to having the possibility to access several other common areas. Each teacher has a personalized storage box to allow greater flexibility in sharing common places. To carry out tasks demanding more concentration or to make calls requiring confidentiality, two telephone booths with felt-lined walls are accessible.
A relaxed lounge has been set up for collaborative sessions. Allowing the staff to write on walls or on tables, this area leaves room for creativity. A glazed conference room designed for meetings and trainings is located near a wide corridor transformed into a teaching station where are installed computer stations and printers to prepare school equipment and material.
The new user-friendly and fully equipped kitchen has a dining room with a large central island and a bistro area that are used not only for sharing meals, but also as a place for work and social gatherings.
