At 6.2 meters tall, the Citiplex stands out offering a challenge of heights in complete safety. The tall gabled facades have become the signature of this construction while also discretely serving the structural challenge. Emphasizing wooden and metal textures, the designer wanted to move away from childish allusions and help the structure fit easily into the most modern developments.
The selection of climbers and overhead equipment can be modified to suit the customer’s needs. Several accessories are installed at ground level giving children with reduced mobility an inclusive play experience.
On the third floor, an urban condo redefines treehouse standards by providing a unique vantage point over the surrounding area. It is the ideal place to take refuge and meet friends. Various items such as a marble maze, translucent coloured panels and gears to manipulate are found there. The condo can be accessed through enclosed climbers, eliminating any risk of falling. Large, trellis-like surfaces serve as guardrails and emphasize the sensation of being high up, while also allowing maximum airflow on hot days. One section of the floor is also perforated to give the impression of walking into thin air. However, the main attraction is the big 3.6-meter-long slide. Citiplex is a play structure designed for public spaces for children 5 to 12 years old.
