Wishing to offer a last distinctive honour to their clientele, the Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges relies on the quality of its services and therefore has developed a unique concept. A boutique with a personalized service, prioritizing a classic and timeless style. It also relies on a humanistic and caring approach to develop a state-of-the-art concept. This space wishes to present and make accessible the purchase of high-end accessories such as jewels, diamonds and prestigious urns to commemorate with dignity the memory of the deceased. The demand was simple: create a place conducive to sales in a caring and comfortable environment to shop for a solemn object.
Following this vision, the materials have been carefully selected to create a humble atmosphere while opting for a refined and classic style. In doing so, the concept of the boutique prioritizes materials with a noble look such as marble, wood and natural stone found on different surfaces. The floor is surrounded by marble-effect ceramic, echoing the surfaces of the display units. This allows the creation of distinctive zones between the different functions of the room while enhancing the displays. There is also a floor tile reminiscent of a classic European marquetry. Maintaining a common thread in the design while offering resistant and durable surfaces, the marble look quartz countertops were proposed for the displays. To bring elegance to the concept, brass details have been integrated to the furniture, such as kick plates and various inserts. The ceiling drops and the arch at the entrance of the boutique are architectural elements that support the desired classic style. The use of materials such as wood, natural stone and lime paint on the walls create a reverent, prestigious and warm design for the targeted clientele.
Conscious of the clientele age range and the emotions they may experience when visiting the boutique, comfortable seating areas have been designed and are also suitable for people with reduced mobility. These spaces are ideal for taking the time to make wise choices in honour of the loved one. After all, you don’t shop for diamonds every day!
The boutique has been designed with spacious circulations to allow the clientele to move freely in the space. The layout of the displays and showcases has been thought out to optimize the view of the items presented.
The primary mission of the Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges is to accompany the family and friends of the deceased and help them overcome the loss of a loved one. In this sense, the boutique is a welcoming, friendly and comfortable place to shop for an object that is very personal. A beverage and coffee area has been designed to increase the comfort level of its guests.
