Employees at BRP’s Valcourt head office are now refueling at coffee and lunch time at their brand new food facilities operated by Sodexo, BRP’s food service provider of choice for over 10 years.
Housed in the brand new BRP Visitor Center (designed by ADSP, a beautiful, windowed expansion that emerges from the main facade of BRP’s head office as a group of intricate geometric volumes), the food facilities are located alongside a reception area, a showroom and other related utility spaces.
The new food facilities are large and the daily flow of users has been carefully considered.
The multi-station food court is composed of several self-service and service counters, each offering a distinct menu – much like a food court: hot pot station, grill/lunch station, pizza/sandwich station, salad/soup bar, cold/hot beverage and pastry bar, a wide range of bottled beverages and pre-packaged refrigerated foods, a prepaid order pick-up station online….! All of this, combined with the use of overhead menus and effective, dynamic lighting, makes for a stimulating, pleasant and friendly service area.
The kitchen, although not part of the user experience, contributes to the customer experience in many ways: both open and closed, it is designed to showcase the expertise of the Sodexo team in the production of the food offer while limiting the visibility of storage and maintenance operations, in this case, the return of trays and dishes, the management of waste and recyclable and compostable materials.
The dining room, equipped with a variety of fully freestanding furniture, allowing for different levels of comfort, groups and configurations, is divided into sections created by variations in intensity and type of lighting, color of constituent and surrounding materials, multimedia wall screens.
The emblematic and spectacular element of this project is undoubtedly the series of benches in enfilade, forming the longitudinal limit of the food facilities and running along the main hall of the new visitor center for its entire length. Topped by a custom geometric pergola made of metal and wood, visually omnipresent and intricately constructed, yet light in appearance and airy in appearance… It is our humble wish that this signature object subtly evokes BRP’s brand image and product design… humbly.
Artesa had the privilege of participating in the creation of this project, which provides BRP’s food facilities with a concrete and distinguished atmosphere, dynamic and stimulating for breaks and meetings.
