Apartment renovation in an historical building located in the Outremont’s heart
This is a 5 ½ condo located in an historical New yorker style building in Outremont area.
The whole project has been thought to be in line with the edifice original elements and enhanced them. Each material, each color has been meticulously selected to not distort the edifice but to enhance it. Because the clients love to cook and gather around the kitchen, it was essential to make this room the hearth of the living space (opening walls) and make it convivial and ergonomic at the same time. It takes its place and becomes one of the main apartment’s features.
Bathroom has also been entirely remodeled. This space has been intended sober and refined in order to better optimise the space and give a feeling of grandeur.
Project’s keys elements: Magnificent cement tiles, perforated steel doors and a touch of Terracotta color.
