The main challenge was to express the firm’s sense of security, Dignity, and Transparency through design of conference area to establish sense of reliability.
Superb prospect from the site, by the Imperial Palace, was one of factors that helps respond to challenge. Inspired by given environment, we came up with design concept “FLOWING”. We started with paying extra attention to relationship between interior space configuration and generous nature of imperial palace in order to incorporate richness into space. Main corridor of conference space radiates from closed reception, floor pattern and lighting to follow by creating FLOW towards view outside to emphasize richness and dynamism. Natural texture used on materials/finishes and artworks refers to flow of nature which add an extra accent to design of conference rooms to convey design keywords to visitors. As for open office space, to change the impression of law firm, use of glazing for private office expresses sense of transparency and overall use of various carpet patterns and graphics aesthetically helps archive project goal.
