Desjardins – Tour de Montréal

The original concrete structure is enhanced by the clean style of the intervention, all in sober tones and elementary volumes. Informal spaces accompany an architectural promenade running along the glass walls and framing the landscape of the metropolis.

GOWLING WLG.

An atypical choice for an office in Place Ville Marie, it opens transparently onto an off-centre reception that offers a unique panorama of the city and groups together the café and meeting rooms. The jury applauds the thought behind the space with its fluid and sophisticated surfaces.

Bibliothèque de l’ÉTS

The space is crossed from one end to the other by a circulation axis where the various work and study areas are distributed on both sides. The mechanical and electrical components have been magnified, an ingenious nod to the fact that the user is located in an engineering school.

Le Studio

Red, the emblematic hue of the show, is at the heart of the development of this digital art presentation space in Quebec City. The custom-made lighting, the curvature of the furniture, the embossed texture of the partitions, all evoke with modernity, a theatrical imagination.

Pavillon d’accueil de l’Assemblée nationale du Québec

Challenge taken up to make an addition to the noble Parliament Building in Quebec City. Buried under the historical architecture and minimalist in its approach, the new pavilion frees itself from formal constraints and emphasizes the spatial experience. A promising gesture.

Go Orthodontistes Downtown Flagship

Here, the architectural aestheticism and the unusual tone of the materials add a je-ne-sais-quoi to this dental practice. The raised waiting room creates a sense of intimacy and well-being for the patients. A luxurious and professional charm.

Gare de Sorel-Tracy

The new river station is in keeping with the riverside theme. The elaborate language is remarkable for its simplicity. The jury appreciated the use of a wooden structure and the enhancement of the material. Here, design and sustainable development are in harmony.

Pavillon d’accueil de l’Assemblée nationale du Québec

Measuring 300 metres in length, the ramp of the reception pavilion slides under the existing stairs and becomes the symbol of a more direct access to democracy. The railing is fluid and provides true universal accessibility, the same for everyone – simply perfect!

Au Gré des Champs

Free ranging cows and the desire for a practice sensitive to the rural landscape guided the design of the cheese dairy’s cowshed. The building is presented as an open volume. The materials emphasize the simplicity of the construction. Functional and inspiring !

Terrasse Clarke

Integrating itself into its environment and taking advantage of the shade of the trees on the ground, the terrace is a wellness area that reveals a spectacular view of the city. The jury was charmed by the originality and the process of transforming an existing place into a quality living space.
