Thrifty Foods Miramar – A New Generation Grocery Store Reflecting the West Coast
The Thrifty Foods Miramar project marks a significant step in the brand's evolution: a reinvented grocery store, rooted in local life, that combines design, functionality, and emotion. Conceived as a lively and inspiring community space, this concept showcases Thrifty Foods' core values: accessibility, freshness, zest for life, and community engagement.
A Concept That Enhances the Brand Image
This project is part of a strategic repositioning of the brand. The goal: to embody the new visual identity of Thrifty Foods by creating a warm, welcoming, and easy-to-navigate environment. Each area of the store has been redesigned to facilitate navigation, encourage discovery, and highlight the range of fresh and prepared products.
A Unique Atmosphere Inspired by the West Coast
The design is inspired by the natural textures, colors, and rhythms of the West Coast. Neutral tones, raw materials, and organic details all contribute to creating an atmosphere that is both relaxing and stimulating. The deliberate use of imperfection, such as handwritten typography, reimagined everyday objects (bicycle wheels, suspended umbrellas), and floor graphic games, helps humanize the experience.
Custom Spaces for Each Area
Each department has its own visual personality while maintaining overall harmony. Whether in the cheese department with its typographic wordplay, at the juice bar with its invigorating accents, or in the kitchen area vibrant with colors, the customer journey is designed to surprise, make one smile, and engage the senses. The furniture is custom-designed to meet the concrete needs of the customer while respecting the overall aesthetic.
