Discipline : Art & Photography
Categories : Photo / Architectural Photography : Silver certification
The new storage and preservation building of Library and Archives Canada in Gatineau is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to preserving Canada’s historical documents. It is the largest automated archival center in the world and the first net zero carbon archive building in North America. Connected to the existing Preservation Centre, it complements its architecture while incorporating advanced technological solutions.
We received the mandate to photograph the architecture of Library and Archives Canada's archival center, highlighting its design, materials, environmental integration, and technical innovations for impactful visual communication and documenting the excellence of the project.
