eDisplay — When the Wall Becomes a Screen Without Ceasing to Be a Wall
eDisplay resolves a tension that seemed irreconcilable: displaying digital content on the exterior façade or interior wall of a building without giving up the materiality, texture, and nobility of architectural materials. Where the conventional LED screen imposes itself as an applied object: black box, plastic surface, visual disruption, eDisplay disappears into the wall itself. Powered on, it broadcasts a high-definition image; powered off, it reverts to stone, wood, or brick, faithful to the architect's intent.
An invention without equivalent in the industry
eDisplay is the world's first display integrated into a zero-carbon econiclay mineral covering. This breakthrough has been honored with the Gold Medal and the Ehrenpreis Award of Honor at the 76th Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition, as well as the ARCA Award at the International Innovation Exhibition.
The technical feat: letting the image pass through the material
The process relies on a micrometric structure of the econiclay surface material, capable of faithfully reproducing the natural textures of stone, wood, or brick — including in unprecedented shapes such as diamonds, triangles, and bespoke geometries. These textures remain largely preserved during light transmission, allowing eDisplay to deliver sharp video content while retaining its architectural appearance. Available in pixel pitches of P2.5 (indoor), P4 and P6.67 (outdoor), it reaches up to 5,000 cd/m² for full-daylight outdoor use.
A new grammar for architects and designers
eDisplay frees designers from the constraint of the rectangular, visible LED screen. No protruding frame, no glossy surface: the museum wall, the shopping center façade, the airport concourse, the car dealership, or the trade show floor become expressive surfaces where information, art, and matter coexist. eDisplay can be applied to walls and ceilings, both indoors and outdoors, and integrates seamlessly with the other Solyt systems (eBIPV, flexible stone coverings, and curtain wall systems) for cohesive projects from skin to core.
Environmental performance
Made from recyclable, UV-resistant inorganic nanomaterials, eDisplay outperforms conventional LED screens in durability. Its life cycle yields significantly reduced carbon emissions, in line with the requirements of sustainable building. It is certified TÜV Rheinland, CCC, ETL, RoHS, FCC, CB, and CE.

eDisplay does not replace the screen: it dissolves the boundary between architecture and media.
