In order to address space issues related to sustained growth, Ricochet, in close collaboration with Syscomax, has begun construction of its new headquarters in Blainville. The goal for this company specialized in toys was clear: to create an environment that matches its ambitions, capable of supporting its development while fully embodying its identity — a balance between professional rigor and playful creativity.

Architecture and Design – A coherent and inspiring experience

Designed by TLA Architects and highlighted by the design of LT Interiors, the building offers a contemporary and warm signature, where each space has been carefully considered.

Upon entry, the hall is distinguished by abundant fenestration, bathing the space in natural light. An architectural staircase made of steel and glass stands as a centerpiece, accompanied by cabinetry modules in light wood tones, creating an elegant and dynamic welcome.

The administrative spaces are characterized by varied materiality that structures the atmospheres while ensuring comfort and durability. The conference rooms, partially glazed, promote brightness and visual continuity, while incorporating fully soundproofed walls to ensure confidentiality and acoustic performance.

At the heart of the building, a large, bright cafeteria acts as a real gathering place. Equipped with a functional kitchen, it welcomes employees in a friendly setting. The integration of a bleacher-type module allows the space to be transformed into an auditorium, facilitating corporate presentations and events.

Environmental Benefits – A Responsible Approach

The building meets the requirements of the Building Code and integrates solutions aimed at reducing its energy footprint. The implementation of a dual-energy system for ventilation and heating optimizes consumption by prioritizing electricity and using natural gas during peak periods, thus contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The integration of a white roof also contributes to decreasing heat islands and improving overall thermal comfort.
