Designed as a primary residence, the Marie-Victorin house is a new construction that fits into a contemporary approach that is both functional and warm. The project has been carefully designed to meet the evolving needs of our clients and their growing family, integrating a sensitive approach to space and everyday life.
Our vision of a contemporary style blends here with the classic and organic essence inherent to the Blanc Marine signature. We stayed true to our aesthetics by creating depths through the integration of glass partitions, which structure the volumes while preserving fluidity and light. Although the volumes have been shaped in a more current and streamlined spirit, the classical language is expressed with finesse through carefully chosen decorative elements, giving the place a timeless elegance.
Drawing inspiration from the Japandi aesthetic – a balance between Scandinavian minimalism and Japanese rigor – the interior design proposes a nuanced and timeless interpretation of the Blanc Marine Signature. The architectural lines are sober, fluid, and rigorously structured, promoting a soothing visual harmony.
Materiality plays a central role in the sensory experience of the place. The generous presence of natural wood, earthy tones, and carefully selected tactile textures – such as linen, lime paint, and brick – create an enveloping and refined ambiance.
The open living area, conceived with a logic of spatial continuity, is enhanced by abundant fenestration that captures natural light at any time of the day. It becomes a true architectural element, revealing the richness of the materials and highlighting the simple yet eloquent geometry of the whole.
