This collection was born from a childhood memory of the story of Pélagie the Witch, a whimsical tale my mother used to tell me when I was little. Colorful, clumsy, and funny, she intrigued me as much as she frightened me. That unsettling feeling lingered, like a fascination, and nourished my imagination around witches: multiple, elusive, powerful.
Through my objects, I wanted to give shape to this free and ever-changing figure. Each piece carries within it a potential for transformation, guided by the copper wire that structures, bends, connects, and reveals. A discreet, almost everyday kind of magic.
The collection plays with contrasts: the softness of pearls against the density of leather, light against shadow. These are shifting talismans, to be worn and reinvented, celebrating that intuitive and creative force we can all awaken. A witch sleeps within us.
