Nature émotive was born in October 2024, at a pivotal moment shaped by both personal and professional upheaval in its host's life.
On the personal side, the birth of his second daughter, Clara, came alongside serious health complications within his family. Professionally, he was simultaneously navigating a sudden and unexpected break from a company he had helped acquire and grow, a rupture that triggered legal proceedings and forced a deep reckoning with his path forward.
Out of that fracture, a clarity emerged: behind the polished narratives of entrepreneurial success lies a complex human reality — one that is largely silent, and rarely represented.
Nature Émotive was born from that tension.
The project was conceived as a response to a clear observation: the business world rewards performance and the image of success, while rendering invisible the emotional and vulnerable experience of those who build it. It offers a different kind of storytelling: one where emotion is not the opposite of achievement, but recognized as an essential dimension of leadership.
The approach deliberately resists sensationalism and the logic of fast content. Each episode is built around unscripted conversations, guided by a loose framework that leaves room for spontaneity and depth. The visual identity and website designed by Cosmo translate this intent through a minimalist, premium, and grounding aesthetic.
Season one features 12 episodes and spotlights the journeys of nearly 20 entrepreneurs and impact-driven figures from Quebec.
Growing entirely through word of mouth, the project has reached approximately 10,000 subscribers with zero paid advertising distributed across all major platforms: Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
From the outset, Nature émotive drew media attention, including a feature in Le Soleil that highlighted the relevance of its approach and its place in the evolving landscape of business media.
Today, the project is expanding beyond the podcast format to become an emerging platform for entrepreneurial resources and support — notably in collaboration with MAIN Québec.
Nature émotive quietly challenges the established codes of entrepreneurial representation. It disrupts conventional expectations by dismantling the stigma around vulnerability in business, and by reintroducing emotion as a legitimate component of leadership.
In that sense, Nature émotive embodies the very definition of design: a tool for cultural transformation — capable of deconstructing existing perceptions and opening new social narratives.
