The brand image of Verchères, in place for several decades, traced back to the coat of arms of the municipality, founded in 1672. On the brink of a new chapter in its history, Verchères sought to thoroughly revisit its visual identity to better reflect the richness of its culture, the pride of its community, and the uniqueness of its territory.

The agency Pixel was commissioned to design a strong, modern, and inclusive new brand image — an identity that draws from the roots of the municipality while integrating into its future.

At the heart of the process: a structured public consultation involving elected officials, citizens, and residents to capture shared aspirations, perceptions, and values. This essential step guided every strategic and creative decision, from redefining the color palette to the overall positioning.

The result is an authentic, welcoming visual identity that is proudly rooted in its territory. It highlights the soul of Verchères: its heritage, solidarity, and desire to shape the future together. The graphic symbol, illustrations, typography, variations, and key messages express this citizen coherence.

This project demonstrates the impact of a well-structured participative approach, where the image becomes a true vehicle of belonging and collective expression.
