The residence is embedded in the mountain, extending its levels in harmony with the natural curves of the terrain.
A path, shaped by the slope of the land, leads to the property and offers two distinct accesses. The first is located on the upper floor and opens onto the main entrance, itself sheltered by an awning. The second, more discreet, winds through the wooded area to a secondary entrance below.
On the upper floor, the common areas open onto an open space and enjoy a striking panorama of the Estrie landscape. A double-sided fireplace, both sculptural and welcoming, divides the living spaces into two and creates an intimate atmosphere in the dining room surrounded by windows. On the same floor, a vast terrace invites relaxation and contemplation and naturally extends the interior life outdoors.
The architecture combines a contemporary style with classical rigor, evident in the symmetry of its facades. The forms of the A and the triangle, signatures of the house, rhythm the composition while optimizing fenestration and sunlight. Thus, a triangular window above the kitchen allows zenithal light to flood the living area.
Solidly anchored to the site by massive columns, the residence surprises with its airy and bright interior spaces.
