Solstice sur les Plaines is a residential and commercial development offering a rare balance of proximity to Quebec City’s vibrant arts scene while remaining intimately connected to the serenity of nature. Located at the threshold of the Plains of Abraham and the Quartier des arts, the project needed a brand identity that could reflect this unique position—bridging prestige, vitality, and a lifestyle steeped equally in culture and greenery.
The branding strategy began with this duality. Deep blues, evoking the elegance of the city’s historic district and the calm of dusk, anchor the visual identity. These are complemented by vibrant coral and refined neutrals, echoing both the energy of the neighbourhood and the quiet beauty of its natural landscapes. The colour palette, typography, and graphic system all work together to articulate five key values: prestige, nature, vitality, proximity, and culture.
The logotype and signature system reflect these tensions through subtle, refined contrasts. A contemporary serif typeface is paired with delicate graphic motifs that hint at organic forms and celestial movements, evoking the cyclical nature of seasons and urban life. The Solstice mark itself acts as a compass, situating the development at the intersection of city and parkland.
The brand experience extends across all touchpoints: stationery, sales tools, outdoor signage, social media, and the website. Each application is carefully tuned to its context—whether in print, digital, or environmental mediums—ensuring coherence while allowing dynamic expressions. Messaging was crafted to echo the brand’s emotional core, with taglines like “Flirtez avec la ville, épousez la nature” (or approximately “Flirt with the city, commit to nature” in English) reinforcing the promise of balance and lifestyle.
Designed to resonate with a mature, discerning audience, the identity of Solstice sur les Plaines elevates the development’s presence before its physical completion. It conveys both the exceptional location and the aspirational living experience awaiting future residents. More than a real estate brand, Solstice sur les Plaines positions itself as a lifestyle signature—an invitation to inhabit the best of both worlds.
