For its Collingwood location, Farm Boy looks back to the original Cornwall store and reinterprets those ideas through the character of the Georgian Bay region. The intent was to create a space that feels local and community-focused, while remaining unmistakably Farm Boy.
Wood tones and natural materials establish a warm, familiar base, drawing from textures consistent with other Farm Boy locations while introducing a stronger local influence inspired by regional materials and architecture. Farm Boy’s iconic red siding is carried from exterior to interior, reinforcing the brand and creating visual continuity throughout the store. Existing brand elements and finishes are maintained and thoughtfully integrated, allowing the space to feel consistent while still evolving.
The layout is clear and intuitive, designed around how customers move and shop. The experience is product-led, with moments of animation layered throughout. Bulkheads help direct sightlines and guide customers toward key product areas.
A 63-foot custom mural anchors the interior, celebrating Collingwood through a series of recognizable and playful moments. From winter scenes to a subtle snowball fight and gondolas rising toward Blue Mountain Resort, the mural adds a layer of local storytelling and connection.
The result is a store that feels rooted in its community, built around everyday use, and clearly aligned with the Farm Boy brand.
