This work centers on the spiritual heritage of Muzha Zhongshun Temple and the agrarian lifestyle of Maokong tea farmers, reinterpreting local culture through book design and creative products. The project specifically highlights the legend of Baoyi Dafu and his divine protection against pests and disasters.
By integrating the signature scents of Maokong into the development of mosquito-repellent products, the design embodies the deity’s core philosophy of "expelling without killing." This compassionate spirit emphasizes peaceful repulsion over destruction, demonstrating a profound respect for all forms of life. Through the design translation of local faith and traditional wisdom, we aim to make cultural heritage more approachable and functional in modern life, ultimately fostering deep cultural continuity and identity.
