CYCLE Laundry Collection is a modular laundry room system developed by Vanico-Maronyx in collaboration with Hettich. It reimagines the utility space as an organized, ergonomic, and visually integrated part of the home. Powered by Hettich’s FurnSpin technology and precision hardware, it transforms routine tasks into a more efficient daily experience.

Context

Laundry rooms are typically designed around appliances rather than user experience, resulting in inefficient layout, limited storage, and poor ergonomic flow. They frequently lack storage, work surfaces and visual cohesion. As homes become more compact and multifunctional, utility spaces must integrate more seamlessly into contemporary interiors.

Intent

CYCLE was created to transform the laundry room into a high-performance, user-centered living space where function, movement, and aesthetics are equally considered. The goal was to organize the full cycle of laundry, from washing to drying, folding and sorting into a clear, intuitive sequence that reduces friction in repetitive daily tasks. 

The system is designed to improve efficiency, optimize space, and integrate utility functions into a cohesive, design-forward environment adaptable to a range of residential layouts.

Solution

CYCLE uses a modular cabinetry system driven by integrated motion hardware, combining storage, workflow, and ergonomics into a unified product architecture. Configurable around stacked or side-by-side appliances, it creates balanced compositions suited to different spatial constraints.

At its core is the FurnSpin technology, which transforms traditional cabinetry into dynamic storage by allowing contents to be revealed or concealed with a single movement. This introduces a more efficient and accessible interaction with everyday items.

Hettich hardware plays a central role in performance and usability, including:

• Motion-driven storage modules for improved accessibility within compact footprints
• Sequenced zones aligned with the natural workflow of laundry
• Sliding work surfaces that expand functionality without increasing space requirements
• Full-extension and vertical storage to maximize visibility and reach
