BSA 60th Anniversary — Digital Archive Experience
To mark six decades of architectural impact, Bélanger Salach Architecture partnered with Studio123 to create a digital experience that celebrates the firm’s legacy while making it accessible to a broader audience.
Grounded in a clear conceptual approach, the project reimagines the traditional archive as an immersive, user-driven experience. Developed in close collaboration with the BSA team, the platform highlights four generations of Partner Architects and their contributions to Northern Ontario’s built environment.
The design balances clarity and expression, allowing each project to stand out while contributing to a cohesive visual system. Through Gallery and Signature views, users can explore iconic buildings from multiple perspectives, guided by an intuitive timeline that traces decades of architectural evolution.
The experience prioritizes usability and engagement, enabling visitors to navigate freely and discover content at their own pace. Subtle interactions and thoughtful structure support both exploration and comprehension, transforming archival material into a dynamic storytelling tool.
By translating a rich architectural legacy into a contemporary digital format, the project preserves and elevates BSA’s impact while reinforcing its role in shaping the cultural identity of the region. The result is a refined, accessible platform that bridges history, design, and user experience.
