The blue hour, when the city calms down and the day has not yet picked up momentum, Saint-Eustache Hospital stands like a silent beacon. It’s glass façade diffuses a soft light that watches over the sleeping patients. The corridors are calm, the machines barely whisper, and the building seems suspended between the end of the night and the arrival of morning.

In this calmness, the new extension communicates with the history of this hospital. The pavilions of previous decades form the memory of the site, while this new wing, all in transparence and contemporary lines, asserts an identity turned towards the future. Glass, metal, and clear volumes compose an architecture that seeks to welcome and reassure.

Just before the hospital resumes its hive pace, the interior light reveals the building's depth. The plays of glasses, ramps and stairs aligned in a precise composition, where each detail contributes to the clarity of the architectural gesture.

In this bluish light, the hospital appears serene, almost contemplative. A moment before the teams become active, before the doors open, before life resumes its pace. My objective sought to capture this breath—a moment where history, light, and architecture meet to reveal the soul of this place.

Through this image, the hospital is no longer just a functional structure: it becomes a landmark, a witness, a breath offered to the community.
