Conceived as a contemporary expression of AGF's positioning, the project offers a reinterpretation of the corporate office where rigor, elegance, and user experience converge in an environment that is both understated, distinctive, and highly functional. Located atop Place Ville-Marie, the design is situated within an iconic architectural context, fully leveraging its qualities to develop a spatial language deeply rooted in its location.
The conceptual strategy is based on a clear organization into two complementary worlds, public and private, fulfilling the project's dual purpose. This duality is orchestrated through a fluid and controlled flow, where spaces subtly intertwine to create a balance between presentation, performance, and confidentiality. The heart of the project, structured around a central core, acts as the pivot for interactions, fostering exchanges while preserving quiet zones adapted to different work styles.
Inspired by the iconic geometry of Place Ville-Marie, the design is based on a rigorous architectural framework that guides all interventions. This interpretation of the building is reflected in the integration of bespoke elements that echo the proportions, rhythms, and verticality of the structure, contributing to a strong formal coherence and a distinctive spatial identity.
The understated yet refined materiality showcases local craftsmanship through a selection of carefully arranged, high-quality, and sustainable materials. Wood, stone, glass, and soft, velvety textures compose a carefully curated palette that supports an elegant and timeless ambiance, consistent with AGF's brand image. Every detail, from the integrated furniture to the architectural interventions, contributes to a precise and balanced staging of the space.
Beyond its aesthetic qualities, the project stands out for the clarity of its planning and the relevance of its functional choices. It responds accurately to contemporary workplace challenges by offering a flexible, efficient and sustainable environment, capable of evolving over time.
By combining architectural constraints, operational requirements, and conceptual ambition, Folio Design offers a coherent and sustainable solution.
