The GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN competition is a project of «La Médiathèque du Design».

«La Médiathèque du Design» is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote design in various disciplines.

ITS PERSONALITY IS BUILT AROUND 5 PILLARS:

  • Discover and recognize talent in the fields of design, architecture, construction, real estate, urban planning and landscaping.
  • Celebrating and promoting creators, visionaries and emerging talents.
  • Encourage companies, individuals and contractors to use designers.
  • Provide networking opportunities.
  • Share knowledge and offer training opportunities.

IT IS AUTHORIZED UNDER ITS CHARTER:

  • To organize and hold conferences, meetings, assemblies, exhibitions and competitions in support of the development, advancement, knowledge and dissemination of design.
  • To promote, print, publish, edit and distribute magazines, newspapers and periodicals, and more generally to disseminate design-related information.
  • Receive donations, bequests and contributions.
  • Establish, organize and maintain design courses.
  • Establish design scholarships.
