With over 35 years of experience, Udo Schliemann is one of Entro’s most skilled designers leading a team of professionals in identity development, corporate communications, and branded environments.
A native of Germany, Udo came to Canada and joined Gottschalk+Ash International in 1999. In June 2011, just after chairing the annual SEGD (Society of Environmental Graphic Design) design conference in Montreal, Udo left G+A and joined Entro Communications as Principal Creative Director.
Later that year, Entro merged with G+A to offer expertise in research, communication design, wayfinding and branded environments. Udo’s work has focused on integrated wayfinding systems and branded environments for institutions and companies in various sectors, like Artscape, Toronto Financial District, Rotman School of Management, Ivey School of Business, Deloitte, Daniels Spectrum and the Weston Family Learning Centre. His work has received numerous awards like the Red Dot Award, SEGD Awards, Applied Arts and RGD Awards and his work is published in multiple national and international magazines.
Udo is a member of RGD, SEGD, DX and DIAC.
In 2017, Udo was elected to become a member of the distinguished Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.
