Edith NORMANDEAU
Trained in Quebec and France, Edith Normandeau creates distinctive designs rooted in the spirit of each place, with a strong focus on biodiversity. A senior landscape architect (AAPQ), she brings 24 years of experience in urban and natural projects. Her approach integrates natural, cultural, and historical dimensions into a sustainable vision that promotes mobility for all ages and universal accessibility.
She has served as project director for several major municipal parks and green space developments, including Parc de la Pointe-Benson in Lévis, Parc Chauveau and Parc Durocher in Québec City, the ecological parking facility in Nicolet, Parc Gérard-Perron in Drummondville, and Place François-De Sales-Gervais in Contrecœur.
These projects reflect the landscapes cultivated by Ms. Normandeau and her vision for unique developments tailored to each client, as well as the quality achieved through multidisciplinary teamwork. They also highlight her expertise in managing complex projects with multiple components.
The Grands Prix du Design awards she received with her collaborators for the Sentier des Grands-Domaines-de-Sillery and Parc Chauveau underscore the scope and impact of her approach.
Founder and lead designer at vita loci, a landscape architecture studio, she established her own firm to deliver creative and resilient designs tailored to today’s environmental challenges.
