Trained as an architect, Christiane has been in charge of Déco Magazine, a quarterly of architecture, decoration and design, since 2000, at the very beginning of the millennium. This was a pivotal period when Lebanon was rebuilding its new city centre and forging the image of a modern and resurrected metropolis. Thus the magazine has accompanied the new wave of professionals in the sector. Beirut lived this period of revival with an unprecedented real estate boom. The editors’ eye has spotted the young talents, detected the current trends and the design movement. Since the Covid-19 crisis, the magazine has been sharing on its social networks most of the local and international design news.
