Casey Jones
Casey Jones is a nationally recognized design leader whose three-decade career spans architecture, public service, and cultural stewardship. As Chief Design Officer and Principal at Perkins&Will, he helps guide one of the world’s largest architecture firms. Previously, he served in senior federal leadership roles—including Deputy Bureau Director at the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Buildings Operations and Director of Design Excellence at the U.S. General Services Administration—where he advanced billions of dollars in civic and diplomatic architecture, reformed national design processes, and elevated design quality across government portfolios. Earlier, Jones was Deputy Director of the Van Alen Institute and co-founded the design strategy consultancy jones|kroloff, responsible at both for significant design competitions and cultural initiatives. A regular advisor to educational institutions including Harvard and the University of Virginia, Casey has been honored by his peers for his impact on the built environment and the advancement of design excellence.
