ONE GALA EVENING IS GREAT… TWO ARE EVEN BETTER!
Each fall in Montréal, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards unveil the Grand Winners, People’s Choice Award winners and Awards of the Year during two exclusive galas presented in both French and English. Finalists, the Gold-certified entries, are presented on screen during the evening.
For the 19th edition, the two galas take place at the Plaza Centre-ville in Montréal, on October 8 and November 19, 2026: two elegant evenings featuring a gourmet dinner and the announcement of winners, where the design and built environment community gathers to celebrate creativity, innovation and excellence.

Questions about the galas
Do I need to attend the gala to win?
No. Attending a gala is optional and has no effect on the results. Winners who do not attend can pick up their trophy on site, send a representative, or pay the shipping and handling costs through Canada Post.
Are gala tickets included with my entry?
No. Gala tickets are optional and sold separately: $355 per person, gourmet dinner included, or $3,000 for a VIP table of 6 and $4,500 for a VIP table of 10, before taxes.
What is announced at the galas?
The Grand Winners, People’s Choice Award winners and Awards of the Year are unveiled at the galas. Finalists, the Gold-certified entries, are presented on screen during the evening.
In what language are the galas held?
The galas are presented in both French and English.
