SMOKED MEATS, ORANGE JULEPS & BAGELS.
What do these three things have in common, you ask?
They are 100 %, to the core, Québécois!
As are the talented stars of INTÉRIEURS’ famously read and enjoyed Smoked Meat column!
Rediscover this unique and exclusive concept, a true tribute to Quebec’s talented designers, architects and artists who have changed and inspired the urban creative canvas of Montréal, Québec and abroad along the years.
When Anne Darche and I set out to interview talented Québécois designers and architects and give our column a Montreal-flavoured edge, we had no clue we’d stumble upon creators with such rich stories to tell and inspiring insights to share. Sometimes in Molière’s tongue (or Michel Tremblay’s, for that matter), other times in Shakespeare’s (or Leonard Cohen’s language of love), discover the hidden faces of theses timeless talents and dive back into Montreal-made “Frenglish” Smoked Meat profiles we’ve enjoyed writing and publishing.
