PROUST QUESTIONNAIRE – PEOPLE OF DESIGN VERSION!
What are three basic rules you learned from your mentors?
I learned to take a good look at my surroundings. I was told a good rule of thumb for a journalist was to watch carefully. If you don’t find anything new, look again. I also learned to appreciate life and not to add years to life, but rather, to add life to years…
Any music playing while you work?
Yes sometimes! And when I listen to music, it’s either tango, new modern compositions, Brazilian music or even beats Afro-American beats from the 70s!
Do you work in PJs or three-piece suits?
Neither PJs nor suits! , I prefer to dress up neatly but comfortablyfor a good day’s work!
What is your current design state of mind?
I trust that design can serve the cause of respect for the environment.
How are your country of belonging’s values reflected in your work?
My country, Italy, is known for its very friendly citizens, outgoing and amateurs of beauty and art. I take from my country’s values of connecting to the world and building good relationships, without saying that aesthetics are always highly regarded.
What always inspires you?
Travelling and reading…
Listening to my children’s fantasies and creatives ideas
Visiting an art show….
all inspiring moments…
If you could host any three guests, past or alive, over for dinner, who would you choose and what would you dare serving?
COCO CHANEL, LEONARDO DA VINCI and SOPHIA LOREN.
