Following the registration period, the International Jury will conduct an online deliberation. The awarding of certifications, the announcement of finalists, the announcement of winners and the nomenclature of the prizes awarded will be as follows.
1. OFFICIAL SELECTION

After the entry deadline, a first evaluation is conducted to determine the OFFICIAL SELECTION of the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards. This first step consists of selecting the qualified entries and preparing them for the international jury’s deliberation.
2. CERTIFICATES

The Jury will evaluate each project or product based on a point system (1-100). Candidates may receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze certificate depending on their score. This Gold, Silver or Bronze certification will be awarded to projects and products having satisfied or surpassed, in the Jury’s eyes, the evaluation criteria of an efficient design.
3. FINALISTS

Projects and products granted a Gold certification (score of 80-100 points) become eligible finalists for Platinum, Grand Winner and Awards of the Year titles.
4. PLATINUM & GRAND WINNERS

Platinum, Grand Prix, Grand Prix International and Award of the Year winners will be announced, at one of two Gala evenings scheduled for October and November in Montreal.
PLATINE WINNERS
One (1) Platinum Award will be handed out in each subcategory. Based on a point system (1-100), the Platinum Award will be given to the project or product with the highest note (above 80) in its subcategory.
The Platinum winner will receive both an award plate and certificate.
GRAND WINNER
Based on a point system (1-100), the title of Grand Winner will be awarded to the 50 projects or products having obtained the highest Jury score, all disciplines and categories combined.
GRAND PRIX INTERNATIONAL
Based on a point system (1-100), a Top 50, in all disciplines and categories combinated will determine the top projects and products. Winners will receive a “Grand Prix International” trophy.
GRAND PRIX
To pursue its founding mission, the contest will discern a “Grand Prix” trophy to the Top 50 Québec projects or products. Based on a point system (1-100), the Top 50 Québec will be restricted to Québec candidates and given to the 50 projects or products having obtained the highest scores by the international Jury, in all disciplines and categories combinated.
AWARDS OF THE YEAR
An “Award of the Year” will be given in each of the six (7) contest discipline categories. Laureates will be chosen by Jury members through video conferencing.
