Aidin ARDJOMANDI
Aidin Ardjomandi is a multidisciplinary designer, lecturer, author, and design critic whose work spans product design, lighting design, sustainability, product development, and user-centered design. He is the editorial manager of Designooor Magazine and a lecturer at Pars University of Art and Architecture.
He is the author of two published books: The Narrative Furniture Design and Judgement, Bias, Design. The Narrative Furniture Design explores the relationship between furniture, storytelling, form, function, and user experience, considering how designed objects can communicate meaning beyond their practical use. Judgement, Bias, Design focuses on design evaluation, decision-making, and the role of personal, cultural, and professional biases in how design is interpreted and assessed.
Alongside his academic, editorial, and design practice, Ardjomandi has served as a jury member, critic, and evaluator for more than 70 international design awards, competitions, and festivals, including the A’ Design Award, LIT Awards, and International Design Awards. His work in this area reflects an ongoing engagement with the criteria, contexts, and processes through which design is reviewed and discussed.
