Giancarlo DI MARCO

Giancarlo DI MARCO
Giancarlo Di Marco is an Italian designer with a background in building engineering, specialist in Computational Design and Digital Fabrication and currently a Professor of Digital Design and Fabrication in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión in Mexico City. Speaker in various international congresses (Architecture Across Boundaries 2019 in Suzhou, China; IASS 2018 at MIT in Boston, USA; World Design Summit 2017 in Montreal, Canada) he also gives masterclasses and workshops in universities around the world mainly on Computational Design, Jewelry Design and CAD/BIM interoperability. While in Italy he has worked together with Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry) as a product/process innovation consultant for several companies in a variety of industries. With his commercial brand Giancarlo Di Marco Studio, he’s a senior advisor for architectural design, product design and product engineering, working with designers and companies in America, Asia and Europe. He is the author of Simplified Complexity - Method for advanced NURBS modeling with Rhinoceros, one of the best reference books for NURBS 3D design.
