Winemaker Series
Handcrafted by skilled artisans in the USA, the Winemaker series brings the essence of Central California wine country to residential and commercial spaces through sustainable design practices. Using recycled French and American white oak staves salvaged from local vineyards, Native Trails gives a second life to these wine-soaked oak barrels, transforming them into contemporary, elegant and generously grained vanities and bathroom mirrors.
Wine-soaked oak barrels get a second life.
During the fermentation process, these oak staves absorb the wine’s flavor and aroma for months, enhancing the wood’s exceptional character and grain. At the end of their useful life in winemaking, Native Trails collects the oak staves from local partner wineries for a laborious processing phase. The staves are carefully dried and brushed to remove wine residue, then planed to a butter-smooth finish to enhance the wood’s natural beauty and character. The finishing touch is the hand application of a protective, low-VOC stain and finish.
The Winemaker series features five distinctive pieces, including freestanding vanities in two sizes (30″ wide and 48″ wide, both 21.5″ deep and 33″ high), a floating vanity (29.5″ w x 18.75″ d x 14.75″ h) and matching mirrors in two sizes (30.75″ x 23.75″ x 1.5″ and 37.25″ x 26.75″ x 1.5″). Highlights include black steel legs, open shelving and spacious soft-close drawers with discreetly integrated pulls.
