The Concetti design team was keen to eliminate the technical components weighing down on the typical appearance of the display case, and thus reinvented its functioning and shape by developing an innovative glass anchorage system and opening method. By moving the swivel from the opening, it becomes possible to glue the back of the glass case to the steel plate. In doing so, it becomes much easier to open the case. Made of steel and laminated glass low in iron content, the display case meets the standards in terms of conservation of museum objects. Established by the Canadian Conservation Institute and the National Park Service, these standards, such as resistance to ultraviolet rays, the use of products without toxic fumes, moisture control and precision assembly allowing the desired air exchange, ensure the conservation of artifacts on display.

Pour le jury, c’est d’abord l’analyse de simplification du produit et son raffinement malgré les importantes contraintes qui sont exceptionnels. This highly functional display case, clever and well thought, highlights the pieces it presents thanks to a lightweight design.
