The visual identity of Nord restaurants, which offer Nordic-inspired local cuisine, conveys the philosophy of chef Raphaël Podlasiewicz and his team. This philosophy is rooted in valuing nature and the knowledge of those who honor and work with it. Thus, the colors, materials and graphic elements chosen to represent it are inspired by the richness of the land and the earthy nuances of the boreal forest. They echo its raw, noble and pure side.
For its part, the logo, as if traced with a brush, places gesture at the heart of the experience. Its « handmade » look is a reminder that it’s the know-how of artisans that gives dishes their full meaning. Up close, the imperfect shape of the letters resemble the relief created by the tops of black spruce trees in the boreal forest. Its organic, almost unfinished feel is also intended as a tribute to the earth’s ingredients.
With a slightly masculine aura that combines refinement and expertise, the visual identity of Nord restaurants elevates cuisine to an art form, letting nature express itself first.
